Potential Income:  $3000+ per week (piece work)

Hours:  7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (or until project completion)  

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Aluminium Subcontractor to join our growing team!   Halton Hills Roofing has over 26 years experience working in the roofing industry and provides their customers with quality, expertise and the utmost skill in the industry for both Aluminium and Roofing products and service.   If you are a Subcontractor looking to join a successful company and be a part of a growing team of professional and skilled workers, we look forward to meeting with you to discuss how your skills may match our requirements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years working in the industry
  • Truck/trailer with all equipment (trailer and equipment may be available upon request)
  • Generic truck and equipment (no company logos – unless Halton Hills Roofing specific)
  • First aid, Working At Heights and WHMIS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Installation of various siding, facia  and soffit products
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Install siding and cladding products according to building codes
  • Install flashing and standard metals
  • Site fabrication and installation of various systems
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Site fabrication and installation of various systems
  • Operate metalworking tools, in order to cut, bend, drill, shape or straighten metal panels
  • Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Report to Halton Hills Roofing of each project’s status
  • Maintain clear concise communication with Halton Hills roofing and it’s customers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with all aluminium products
  • Skills to cut and install cladding systems
  • Knowledge of various aluminium systems
  • Confident and skilled using all types of hand tools
  • Experience with commercial and industrial projects
  • Comfortable work at heights
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferable
  • Knowledge of general construction methods and practices (codes etc…)
  • Mechanically inclined, familiarity with hand tools and construction equipment an asset
  • First aid, Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications
  • Fluent english and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with our team members and customers
